Each lowercase letter is shaped like an animal whose name starts with that sound. The picture helps kids remember the letter and the sound together.

We started with lowercase on purpose. Most of the words kids will read are lowercase.

Kids trace each letter with a dry-erase marker, wipe it clean, and try again.

Created by a homeschool mom and designer, with activities developed alongside Kelli DeLarue of Learn to Play.

How kids use them

The youngest learners can start by naming the animals. Then they trace the letters, hunt for sounds, and play the 10 built-in activities.

This matching game is a fabulous resource for my kindergartner and my younger preschooler! We homeschool, and we love incorporating games into our lessons, so this has been such a fun and helpful way to practice phonics and letter recognition.
The tiles themselves are extremely well made and durable. They don’t fray or bend, even with little hands putting them through the ultimate durability test — haha! A great addition to our homeschool routine!

These flashcards are awesome! We love that they feature lowercase letters, and I love pairing them with the corresponding letters for different activities. My kids use these in a variety of ways — from letter recognition and phonics practice to animal recognition with my youngest. The illustrations are beautiful, and the quality of each card is great. My 6 YO loves this book! The rhyming is super fun & engaging. He always wants to find the "hidden" letter animal. We have the 2" letters and so when we're eating I often use this as an activity to keep him engaged. He goes through and finds the letters and matches them.
