Easter is such a refreshing and happy holiday, don’t you think? Temperatures start creeping up, the sun is out a little more (in between rain storms), and flowers are just starting to bloom… and then Easter happens! It’s a day that’s all about new beginnings and new life and we’re here for that!

It’s also a great day to prioritize spending time with family, whether that means sitting down for a family brunch, playing yard games (if the weather is nice!), or just eating candy, telling stories, and laughing together.

Another great thing about Easter is the food! Whether the main course is glazed ham, turkey, lamb chops, or roast beef, we love it all! Top it off with a carrot cake covered in cream cheese frosting and we might be happy (and full!) until next easter.

Although there are so many wonderful activities that are traditional for the holiday, we also love the idea of coming up with your own less traditional Easter traditions as a family. Maybe it’s having a pancake breakfast and inviting friends. Maybe it’s planting fresh flowers to brighten up your garden. Or maybe it’s visiting a local farm to hold baby chicks and bunnies. We think celebrating traditions, whether as a family or as an individual, in a way that feels special and that you look forward to is the whole point of holidays!
