Our magnetic wall decals require proper preparation for best results.

Skipping steps may result in reduced adhesion.

BEFORE INSTALLATION (DO NOT SKIP)

• Lay the decal flat, face-up with weight for 24 hours to remove curl memory
• Wall must be smooth, very clean, dust-free, and completely dry. Painted walls must be latex-based and fully cured for 30+ days

INSTALLATION STEPS

1. Decide Placement: Many customers align their decal with the baseboard for easy child access. (Optional) Use a level to mark a guideline.
2. Anchor the Bottom: Starting at the bottom, peel 2–3 inches of backing and press firmly. Do not remove backing all at once — dust reduces adhesion.
3. Peel & Smooth Slowly: Continue peeling backing a little at a time, smoothing upward from the center outward.
4. Press & Secure: Press firmly across the entire surface, paying extra attention to edges. Use the included scraper tool to ensure strong adhesion.
5. Ready for Use: Once installed, your decal is ready for lightweight magnets, dry-erase markers, wet-erase chalk, crayons, and water-based washable markers (depending on surface color

Installation Note: Archie and Mini Archie are designed for long-term installation on smooth walls. Because paints, textures, and surfaces vary,we cannot guarantee adhesion to every wall type. Do not install on freshly painted walls—wait at least 30 days for paint to fully cure.

Depending on the surface color, the magnetic wall decal works with:

• Dry-erase markers
• Wet-erase chalk markers
• Water-based washable markers
• Wet-erase whiteboard crayons
• Traditional chalk (Do not use on the Whiteboard surface option)

Always test any writing tool in a small corner first, as ink and pigment formulations vary by brand and may stain.

The decal works best with lightweight magnets such as our alphabet magnets or shaped magnet sets. Heavy or oversized magnets may not hold securely. It may or may not work with magnetic tiles, depending on the plastic's weight and thickness.

The magnetic wall decal is designed for indoor use and performs best on clean, smooth, non-textured surfaces such as:

• Painted walls (latex-based only)
• Smooth doors
• Glass or mirror surfaces

For best results, install only on walls painted at least 30 days prior so the paint has time to fully cure.

The decal is not compatible with:

• Oil-based paints
• Textured or uneven walls
• Stain-resistant, Teflon-based, or air-purifying paints
• Fresh or uncured paint

Because every wall surface is different, we cannot guarantee adhesion on all surfaces. If you’re unsure, request a free sample to test before installing.

No. Once the adhesive touches the wall, peeling and reapplying can introduce dust, weaken the adhesive, and affect long-term performance. This product is intended for one-time, long-term installation.

Our magnetic wall decals are manufactured in China by a trusted production partner we’ve worked with for several years. We collaborate closely with our factory team, and they continue to make improvements in materials, adhesion, and quality to ensure our decals meet our high standards for safety, durability, and performance.

All of our products ship from the USA, and all duties and import tariffs have already been paid before the items reach our warehouse.

If you are located in the United States, you will not receive any additional tariff or customs bills for your order.

For customers outside of the USA, duties, taxes, and import fees vary by country. International customers are responsible for all taxes, duties, VAT, and tariffs imposed by their government at the time of delivery.

Because compatibility varies by wall type and installation, we cannot accept returns on opened or installed decals.

Only unopened decals in their original packaging may be returned within 30 days.
